I hate grocery shopping. There is no other way for me to say it without using the word hate. With 4 kids and a husband who can eat food faster than I can unload it, grocery shopping is entering a ring knowing I’m already going to lose. The lists, the drive, the un wanted items in your cart, the kids, the shopping carts, the check out, the loading of the car, the unloading of the car, the breaking of the eggs…all of it. Sucks.
Photo from this morning when he wouldn’t let me pick out the cart I wanted. In his opinion, I didn’t need a cart…
When I learned about InstaCart coming to San Antonio, I was so excited. Not only can you order your groceries online, but get them the same day, AND from multiple stores!
About InstaCart:
We were founded in 2012 in San Francisco, CA. At that time, our founders didn’t have time to go grocery shopping and couldn’t find a grocery delivery service that was able to provide them with the high-quality, same day grocery delivery they were looking for. Seeing an opportunity to provide a fast, convenient grocery delivery service that they and many other people would love, they founded Instacart.
So how does it work and what makes InstaCart stand out?
Customers go online to www.Instacart.com or open the Instacart mobile app on their iPhone or Android device, select their zip code and store, add items to a virtual cart, and then choose a delivery window (within one hour, within two hours, or up to seven days in the future) and check out. An Instacart Personal Shopper accepts the order on his/her smartphone, uses the Instacart Shopper app to guide them through shopping, and then delivers the order to the customer in the designated delivery timeframe. In San Antonio, we’ll be deliver groceries in as little as one hour from Whole Foods Market, H-E-B, Spec’s, Total Wine & More, Petco, Natural Grocers, Costco and Central Market.
New customers can sign up at www.Instacart.com. For other FAQs, visit https://www.instacart.com/faq.
